2016 TG. I swapped out the stock mirrors for the long stem mirrors last week for a better view of what was behind my wide frame. Between the headwind and the crappy Illinois interstates, the starboard (right) mirror readjusted itself down after a short period. There is not a set screw holding it in place. My question to the community, is there any way to tighten up the factory crimp on this mirror? (H-D P/N 91846-03B) ($33.96) I could just return it, but if I can fix it I'm happy to do so. Loc-tight? Thanks for any input.

Think I would take it back. Otherwise it is going to be self-adjusting at the worst times and is going to become very annoying. You could always try a drop of super glue or a spot of JB Weld. Keep in mind that every time the mirror gets bumped you will probably be re-doing your fix. I went with the stem extensions on my stock mirrors and had to Loc-Tite them.

I have the Kury stem extensions on my stock mirrors and loc-tited them as well. No issues in about 5000 miles of riding various speeds and road conditions.

I ended up taking the loose mirror back to the dealer. After initially balking at swapping it out because of their policy of no returns after 30 days, I got the parts manager involved. HD has a one-year warranty on their parts.

Having bought my last two HD's new there, you'd think there wouldn't be any hassle.
