Name here is Terry and yes I am really from Fla:D. My introduction post is part recognition and part therapy in that my father in law passed away January of this year, gifting to me his 2012 Triglide. His name was Ronald H. Tong, MGysgt USMC, retired. I am very humbled and honored to be able to ride his steed and make it my own. He and I weren't super close due to distance and he didn't want his daughter marrying a Marine (haha) but we both shared a passion for riding motorcycles.

I've ridden/owned only metric motorcycles (Honda's, Kawa's, KTM) so I'm approaching this trike with hesitation and down right super excitedness. In the short period of time lurking on this forum I can say this is a top notch, well managed forum. I am looking forward to learning, sharing and hopefully meeting some great folks.

Welcome Terry. Thanks for the kudos, the staff and members here do work hard to manage the forum, to welcome good folks like you and keep things on the right track here. We welcome everyone and treat folks like we like to be treated, with respect. Occasionally, that respect is not reciprucated and we just don't let it get to the problem stage. It's like the Marines, respect given, respect received. You'll be a good fit here.

Thanks to you all for your condolences and I'm passing them onto my wife who of course feels a tremendous loss with both parents now deceased. We all know that death is also part of life.

Thanks again, all of you.
