Hello all. Not only am I a new member to this forum, I'm new to motorcycles period. I retired from school teaching and was looking for a hobby. I've just bought a 1997 Honda Goldwing Trike. I'm presently riding around my neighborhood trying to learn how to ride this thing. Even though I'm not very good, I'm having a blast. I'm very much looking forward to learning about this new adventure from this forum. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Welcome from South Eastern Illinois. It will not take you long to master the trike. Just keep practicing, and watch the width of the trike.

Thanks for the response. I've already dealt with the width thing when backing into my garage. Hadn't hit anything yet but I have to be careful.

Welcome from Olive Branch MS.

Hello Bo and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. If you have read any replies about practice that I have made then I am not going to go thru it again, even tho I believe it is very important to do before doing any serious riding. Congratulations on your new ride, it looks beautiful. With some TLC it should give you many miles with many smiles. Ride safe.

Hi Bo and welcome aboard. There is a lot of good info to be had and some high quality folks as well. We are glad you are here.

Thanks everybody. I've already learned some stuff I didn't know from reading some of the threads. I'm going to have some questions when I get a little more experience. I really don't know enough to ask questions now. If the weather would cooperate a bit here in the deep south, I might be a little further along. 13 last night. Come on. It only went that low because I got my trike.
