Green on line indicator

Since joining the forum, I've noticed that many have their green "On Line" indicator illuminated 24/7. Are y'all simply not closing the browser or, does it stay on with the browser closed even though one has not logged off ? Curious mind ............

When I'm done on one web site i just i just click on to another one' And if I'm done on my computer i just go to the red dot on the top far left and click on that. Then close the cover of my lap top... What stays on or off is a mystery to me??... And just wondering what in the world is a browser:Shrug: I never log out of any thing... Due to my fanatic computer knowledge I'm a-scared i'll screw something up and then i won't be able to log back on..

Yep.. I point/bring cursor up to the top left side of my screen and click'on
the red dot/circle and the screen saver comes on. And then i close the cover on my laptop. ... What my laptop is doing after that is anyones guess...:Shrug:

That subject came up yesterday while my oldest and I were putting several 16 rnd mags of 9mm Fiocchi through my new Springfield Armory Mod.2 4" service. Not something I prefer discussing. That was in another life, long long ago. I am btw, referring to SEA, not weed. :Coffee:
