i just looked back at a post i did in general bikes section of this forum about mods to my chopper, and found a comment from 92fxsts about a vidio which i didnt realise was linked to the photos i posted.
thought the explaination may get a few laughs.
When i first rode the chopper a mate and i went to the etamogah pub. and as we enjoyed a cold one outside a bunch of Americans from Denver arrived in a mini van. The couple organising the group hold an amatuer movie festival each year, and they and about 10 friends had travelled to Australia to make a comedy mockumentary about Steve Erwin and crocadiles.
After another beer it was decided to film me running over a croc that had spent too much time at the pub and had fallen over right outside the door in the carpark. At least 8 of the group had croc suits and one acted the part of the drunk croc stumbling out and falling on the road outside. when this was filmed he took the suit off and we put a few jackets, and a look alike baby doll inside the suit and i rode down the carpark and over the croc . if you see the video you will notice there is another camera person dressed as Steve Erwin, even has a blonde wig on. as the film progresses he does an autopsy on the croc and pulls out the baby and claims it is Lindy Chamberlains lost child, and that it wasnt a dingo that got the baby, it was a crock.
I didnt realise that the Lindy Chamberlain story would be known in the USA. but thinking about it, you may have seen the movie where lindy chamberlain is played by Meril Streep (think thats her name)..
So my first chopper ride got me in a film festival in the USA.. strange but true...
