PA. grand canyon that is off rt. 6 just west of Wellsboro, PA a great day for a ride trying to upload pics. computer being a pain fred

I was just up there last week. Awesome riding except for 44 being closed in one section. Visited both West and East rim areas. Route 6 was a pleasure except for the construction area. Try Frosty Hollow B&B on Route 44 (Cherry Springs Road) a few miles South of Rt 6. Really nice people, great prices, excellent breakfast served each morning. Olga's Cafe in Coudersport has great food and beer selection.

The PA Grand Canyon is a wonderful area for cycle riding. Lots of curves and no traffic.

We are going back to see the Kinzua Bridge and the Zippo Museum next trip.

Route 44 should be fully opened mid- September. All the paving on Route 6 should also be completed.

Ice Mine is about 1.5 miles South of Rt 6 on the right (going South). It's not open every day.

Stay off 414 as it has a mid detour onto the walking trail for many miles of gravel and also has a lot of tar/stone chip work.

thank you

I would be coming from the west not sure how that would effect road construction. It won't be for a couple of weeks anyway it seems they are finishing up most road work in the area, if the road is closed must be a bridge. thank you again for the heads up ThumbUp
