Anyone care to share the pros and cons on the various GoPro models? Accessories or extras needed?

Thinking of purchasing one before my trip to Nova Scotia.

I know they have become real popular in the hunting/fishing communities as well as the motorcycle community.

Everything from 2010 was shot with a GoPro. I use a Ram Mount on my handlebars. The first ones were taken with a Beta version, thus the 'curved' trees and poles. Tthe inventor is the son-in-law of my neighbor. Should be getting my new Hero 4 soon.
