Hello everyone! My name is Jack and my wife and I live in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. I have ridden motorcycles for 50 years and owned more bikes than I can remember! Actually I don't remember much of anything these days!

We were in luckenbach a while back and noticed a bunch of trikes pullin in. My wife and I looked at each other and she suggested that we go and check them out. The people were very friendly. There were triglides, wings and Spyders.

I was immediately attracted to the spyder rt. the guy that owned it invited me to get on the bike. It was pretty cool. Then the guy asked me if I wanted to buy it!
He apparently had been left stranded on a number of occasions and was currently in a battle with BRP to figure out what was wrong with his ride. Too bad....

Anyway....we got to thinking about getting a trike. My wife loves touring but has recently become a little nervous about two wheel ridin. sound familiar?

So....I rented a Goldwing CSC in Austin for the weekend. We loved it.Took a while to get used to it. Wow it was fun. Next I went to the Harley dealership and rode a triglide. Also very fun! But hot! And underpowered for me. I've been through the Harley program for many years and decided that it might be time for a Wing.

So....I started looking for one.....ugh...what pain and confusion. Then.....I was looking at the classifieds here on Trike Talk the other nite and there it was....2012 black and silver Roadsmith for sale! It was beautiful! It was meant for me. I contacted "Matches" Mike and we put a deal together.

So.....I'm flying up to Chicago next week to pick it up and ride it back to Texas!

It's very exciting! Normally I would start planning all the mods I will do on my new bike. But....Matches has already done them!! All I have to do is ride! Fantastic!!

Glad to be a member of your community!

Welcome to Trike Talk and congratulations of your new ride. I looked at the add and that is, without a doubt,,, one beautiful Trike!!!! I bet it'll take at least a year, if not longer, to wipe the smile off you face, LOL!!! :10:ThumbUp

Welcome......make sure you do your home work, read up on trike riding technique, and plan a slow less traveled route. Not that I doubt your ability-but trikes are different animals and no matter how long you were on two's, three's are a completely different riding experience.:D:Trike1::wave4:

Welcome aboard Jackson from Fort Worth. Congratulation on your new trike. It is a beautiful trike. Maybe I'll get to see it on the road or at the Rally next year in Arkansas. God bless!
