Going on a Date

Tomorrow I'm going on a date with a very good friend's wife. Well, she's a friend too. And she asked me out! Barb and Larry (my friends) have tickets to a concert at the complex they live in. Larry has been having health issues and cannot attend. I'm his surrogate. Barb told me that he had a big grin when she told him I was going as her date. Maybe the neighbors will talk. We hope so!

This last week two very good friends of mine passed away. The point of my story is to cherish the friends we have. Those we love will not be here forever. And, don't give a thought about what others think. Go on the date!!!!!

After a softball game the (first) wife and I invited another couple to come out to our cabin about 40 miles away. The guy wasn't ready to go yet but his wife was so I told him and my wife that his wife and I would go ahead and they can come later in his car. Course all the rest of the team saw us leave separately in different cars. BOY WERE THE TONGUES WAGGIN!!! (Nothin' happened.)
