Going clutchless on a GL 1800

Well salty my ecperience cost about $3500 and i am back to the original clutch.
The auto clutches were/ are designed for smaller lighter bikes.
The owner of efm gave me a refund for the product no questions ask and all work was dome at the dealer.
I would suggest something that comes with a auto in the beginning.

Yes salty i also have the pingle shifter with 50k on it a great investment.
The only time u need it is starting and stopping.

its really a individual thing. I pretty well shift in rpm and its very smooth.
the demo is all low rpm on a stand so on the road its very smooth.
Personally i use the clutch on down shifting because i dont like the jerking when you are downshifting.
also it takes a little bit "not long" to play with it and even adjust it to your liking. i can hit that shift button full throttle and not miss a lick.
Its really a great shifter and it looks good.
Dont forget to keep your pivots greased.

there was a article in WW mag a few years ago about a guy who triked his wing using a Subaru automatic transaxle.. he left the Wing trans in 5th and let the automatic do its thing. but have never heard of it again..
