1995 SE Goldwing Radio going on and off

Hi I have a 1995 SE goldwing trike and the radio go on and off, it works most of the time. My LED only works showing the clock. What would do this to the radio and LED.

I'd start by checking the wiring leading to each. Sounds like you have wiring that has rubbed some of the coating off and is grounding out when you hit bumps, etc.
