Need a right side cover to fit a 2008 GL1800.

Jim's was not holding well and sure enough he lost it without realizing on the trip home from Kerrville this past October. Things are just now settling down from Jim's doc visits and hospital events that we can begin to focus on this replacement.
We have checked a couple of salvage yards and, of course OEM new parts, and E-bay on-line, but thought someone on TrikeTalk might have the part or know of someone, or have a preferred go-to source.

Thanks for info.

p.s...would prefer a titanium color if in really good shape, otherwise we have a good painter.

Thanks Ronnie but this part stays on the bike, triked or not. I think we have found one thanks to previous poster John557 link he supplied. I have emailed GoldWingDocs of our interest to purchase. I am sure Monday will be the first chance they'll get the email and respond.
But to answer your location question it is the right side panel on the bike. Thanks again.

Glad you found one Carla.. You do realize you will still need the piece that attaches to the rear of that Titanium Plastic. I don't remember if Jim's was chrome or the OEM black plastic. The chrome stuff usually has to be purchased as a set but the black you can get from HONDA or other Honda parts vendors separately. Didn't see one on that linked site. :xszpv: :xszpv:

Hey Jerry..
Good to hear from you. Yes, the black piece is readily available on eBay for reasonable prices we noticed.
Thanks!

Update to the Gl1800 right side panel..
We received a very nice right side panel from goldwingdoc store. It was as advertised - in excellent condition. In fact it was almost our color, maybe faded a bit, but it is at the painter's shop as we speak.
Again, THANK YOU to JOHN557 for supplying the link to goldwingdoc store.

The black piece that attaches to the end of the side panel toward the fender was actually a custom piece for the Lehman Monarch II trike kit and not a Honda OEM. The OEM is too wide of a piece to fit there. Additionally, the Lehman custom piece is solid - no hole as the OEM has.

TO THE RESCUE...... LEE H. MAN on this forum. He is the Lehman trike authority and dealer who was able to supply us with the custom piece. It too was used but you couldn't tell it...in excellent condition, and very reasonably priced!

MANY THANKS to you guys for your assistance in this recovery operation. Our hats are off to you!!
