GL1800 Aux Cord Connection Question

I was able to hook my android phone to the aux

Needless to say I am happy to see it works thru my speakers.

The issue I am having is I cant forward to the next song

Any suggestions I have a 2015 GL 1800. Thanks

I don't think your handlebar controls will work with the aux plug, other than volume. However, there are devices you can plug into the CD plug under the seat that will allow you to use the controls to skip songs. Soundgate is one device and I know there are others.

Handlebar controls do not work with the Aux jack. Only through the USB, if your bike has one, which I am sure it does if it is a 2015. You will have to control the music by hand on the device. Also, the USB powers the battery but the Aux jack only puts the music through the speakers and you will need to plug your player to the power supply that you may, or may not, installed in the pocket to provide power. Did you put whatever player your using on shuffle??

Just plugging into the Aux wont let you change tunes. Might be able to use the volume control and mute on the box controls??

Since Ive just ordered a new cable to use with my XM radio.

There are a ton on blue tooth cables out there that do use the AUX connection. On both Ebay and Amazon.
