I have read a lot of things about Rake kits and I think I want to probably add one to my trike maybe this winter.
But, I have seen a lot of debate over 4.5 degree vs 6 degree and Hannigan seems to only have a 4.5 degree
I think I would want a 6 degree but I am wondering if on a Hannigan conversion it makes a difference?
any help, opinions out there?

Either works fine, the 6 degree takes less effort to steer, some say it is a bit too sensitive for their liking, but the 4.5 is most often used on the GL1500s. If you have no rake kit on your trike you're going to love how much easier it is to steer.

after emailing with Hannigan and comparing measurements on my 1500 2 wheeler and the trike, I am pretty sure I Have a stock 1500 front end.

One of the easiest ways to tell visually is the stock triple tree is normally black on the top and bottom plates. Rake kits are usually silver plates.
