GL 1800 Trike Recall

Had my 2013 1800 CSC Viper brake recall done today. Picked it up and 75 miles later it was back in the garage. Weather was in the low 80s and ride was great. Did not feel and difference in the brakes at all. Ron Ayers PowerSports in Greenville, NC does good work for my 2 cents.

Brake Recall

We just had the wife's 05 GL1800 with a Roadsmith kit recall work done at Kent's in Abilene, TX. Wife said her brakes feel much better but I believe that is more due to them needing a flush and bleed and as we just bought it in Jan this year I can't vouch for their condition. We also had the fork seals and bushing replaced and head bearing replaced at the same time. Can't say enough about how well we were treated by this dealership. Because the decision to replace or just service the head bearings was contingent upon their inspection results, they couldn't order materials until I gave the go ahead. The parts were slow getting in but the mechanic stayed late the night before we were to pick it up to finish and called me late that evening to let me know it was done. He did this because we told him our son had just got married and we couldn't be waiting for the job to get done and they wanted to make sure we were out the door early on the day promised. I know this thread is supposed to be about the brakes but I was just so impressed by the whole package I had to sing their praise. ThumbUp
