Does anyone know who makes the program that GM uses in their vehicles? In late June I bought a 2015 GM Vehicle with their OnStar/GPS package and in September the wife and I made a cross country trip from San Diego to upstate New York/Canada and back. The first few days of driving was OK because of stops we make, but we left Durango, CO for Salina, Ks traveling on two lane back roads because that was the way the GPS routed us. After about 2 1/2 hours of driving the GPS in the car went on the fritz and started searching for its destination. This happened the rest of the way across and all the way back to the west coast. If you stopped the car and turned it off and restarted it, it was fine for another couple hundred miles. I really haven't discussed this in detail with the dealer yet but I have mentioned it to a dealer in New York and my dealer here in San Diego and was told "I'm not sure what we can do about it".
