G'Day to all. I live in Ipswich which is in the South East part of Queensland,Australia.
I've been riding 2 or 3 wheels since my teens. My first sidecar came a few months after the birth of our son ( now 33 years old ). Since then we have bought,built,refurbished a larger number of sidecars (and bikes) than I care to admit to.
I built a motorcycle based trike a few years ago. To cut a long story short, way too many legal dramas to get it on the road. Got there but never going to built one again.
In 2011 we were on the lookout for a new sidecar and through sheer good fortune we came across a trike. It ticked all the boxes for our needs so the deal was done.
We are now the proud owners of an '84 Kawasaki Voyager 1300/6 trike.
I should say "Custodians" as many now friends have made their marks upon this project during it's development over several years. All the hard work had been done before we bought it. We have just added our personal touches and ideas to it.
It has proven to be ideal for our needs so now it's " Any excuse for a ride."
