Are trikes/bikes allowed on Glaveston Island? Hilton Head Island and Seabrook in SC don't allow motorcycles so I guess I won't bother them by spending my money elsewhere...

Captain.. of course motorcycles, of all flavors 2 or 3 wheeled are welcomed on Galveston Island. You'll just have to dodge the many other bikers riding the island.
If you can manage, one of the largest rallies (Lonestar Rally) in Texas is held there every year. Lots of classic bikes, cars, & trucks on display. check it out.
