We made a visit recently to the Harley Davidson factory in York, Pa to watch the TriGlides being made. The carts carrying parts to the assembly line have a label on them- "boomer". I asked what this meant since only the carts carrying parts to the TriGlides were labeled this way. I was informed that the name comes from "baby boomers" -the people like us who are buying them.
