front fender

Found my back half of the front fender is broke. Broke the tabs that hold to the side pieces. Anybody else have this problem

Oh yes. And those items are not cheap. Front suspension system on Wings prior to 2018 had problems, especially if you had to ride on rough roads, like I do. I n now use two sided tape in an attempt to cushion the blows from bad roads.

Front fender

I have replaced the lower part of the front fender on mine, 2002, it also broke the tabs. I have a front fender extension on mine, might be the problem, not sure. The last one I replaced drilled some 3/8" holes in it to maybe stop some pull by the wind on it. So far so good.

I have a extension on mine too

My tech, who has worked on bikes for 35 yrs told me to take the extension off and never put another one on. I took his advice and haven't had to replace the fender again. You wouldn't think something so light could cause that much of a problem.
