Freewheeler Security

Been thinking about this as I've got a couple trips in the works for the summer. Stats show us trikers as very low on the list of motorcycles stolen. 2014 shows just 4 "trikes" nationwide (US) stolen. They don't break that down so they could be Harleys, Hondas, CanAms. No idea. I'm thinking at 1100 pounds it's unlikely a Freewheeler will be picked up and thrown into the back of a pickup. Fork locked, ignition locked and no fob nearby it would be difficult to ride it away, if they even know how to ride one. Any thoughts on this?

Determined thieves will take your trike if they want it bad enough. Even with the front forks locked the front wheel can be lifted onto a dolly and the trike rolled away.
