Wife and I are off to Deadwood this morning for the 3 wheel rally. We went last year on the Spyder, so this time on the HD. We had a great time, with this year, 650 trikes are signed up. The Black Hills are always a blast, but prefer not being there for bike week. Have been 15 times back when I was younger, no longer interested. I live in the upper Mojave and has been hot! Yesterday was pushing 120. Going north on 395 and taking US 6 across. Almost all of it will be above 6000' with the high in the low 90's I can deal with that

Oh how we miss the Black Hills in the summer.
We made the first 5 years of the Trike Rally in Deadwood.
Moved to Arizona and haven't made another one yet. Seems like every year some medical problems get in the way.
Are you camping out or staying in a cabin or motel?

We’re doing easy days, around 450 miles and doing hotels. Don’t camp like the old days , besides, camping gear takes up a lot of space, and I like to pack light

We attended that trike rally back in 2017 or so. It was a lot of fun. Can't wait to see some pics! Safe travels.
