Need to change the handlebars on my wife's new to her Freewheeler. DO NOT want to change the seat. The stock handlebars are good except they need to be closer to her. Maybe by about 2 to 4 inches. I don't know what the specs are for the stock bars and am not sure if what i need is more "pull back". Thought about harley's "tall boy" bars and roll them back towards her to see if that works. Anyone out there changed the bars to fit a petite lady? And, what bars did you go with? Thanks

petite woman handlebars!

I just got a Freewheeler and my arms were straight out just to reach the grips BEFORE going into a turn. I would have to bend at the waist so far my pants cut off the circulation on my legs! I purchased Helibars - paid almost $700 for them and another $400 to have them installed but TOTALLY WORTH IT!! They adjust in 3 different places for a custom fit. What a difference! I sit upright going through a curve or turn, leaning slightly into the curves. She'll love them. Back ache is all gone too!

ThumbUp Helibars!!!

Had same issues as previous poster on my Spyder. There are SO many ways to tweek them just right to custom fit just you.

Very much worth the big bucks (they were super easy to install ourselves) as opposed to trying this, trying that, sending them back... major PITA.

Helibars = once and done and happy, happy, happy! :)
