Free Wheeler windshield

Has anyone ever switched out the freewheeler windshield on here? I definitely need to go with a short windshield but they are hard to find especially when I go on the LRS website, but I heard that you can use the Road King windshields. Can any confirm this?

Road King shields will have a larger cut out for the headlight. The older softail shields will work. Call LRS, they may get you to measure the bolt pattern to verify the fit.

The last windshield I bought was from Freedom shields.
John is great to work with and keeps constant communication.

Below is a picture of a KlockWerks shield that I bought used for my 2016 Freewheeler that was on a 2019 Heritage.
The mounting hardware isn’t compatible so you’ll need to swap that out.

My KlockWerks windshield is rather tall so that probably isn’t the windshield you’re looking for however a windshield for a Heritage works on the Freewheeler.

I bought a 2021 Freewheeler, the dealer let me keep my RoadKing windshield. It mounted with no problem, but other than keeping bugs off me it doesn't hold back any wind.
