yesterday, while heading home from a ride I was just getting on the interstate from the onramp when I felt something wet on my arm and smelled gasoline!!!:AGGHH: The only thing I could figure was that it came from a truck that was getting on the exit ramp in front of me. It was a work truck with a gen/welder in the back and it looked like the crew had loaded it by everyone throwing stuff in at the same time. I'm just guessing but I would bet one of the things thrown in the bed was a can of gas and I got a free gas shower because of it. I'm just glad that I didn't have my leather jacket on when I got the free gas shower, I still can't the gas smell out of my gloves.
Does anyone have any ideas to get the smell out of leather gloves??

Spray it with Febreze.......ThumbUp Your lucky it wasn't Diesel.. That smell stays for ever..

thanks Rhino, whats kinda funny/dumb, on my end, about your suggestion, my gloves are hanging from a shelf with a bottle of febreze holding them as they dry:D:qpnmt:

Try rubbing some vasoline on them. Works to get the gas smell off of your hands so might work here as well. Besides makes them soft and smooth.

luck...ron
