hi every one, first time on here and also first trike im building and ihave a problem, the forks i ave on my trike when i sit on her the forks drop a long way its a reliant engine , so what i want to know do i need more oil in and if so how much, the forks are a xj 600 yamaha, can some one help please....

Sounds like some longer or heavier springs may be in order. But I don't really know what your options are. Would probably have to disasemble a tube get a spring size and go from there. There is an old school fix for weak springs etc. Install a small piece of pipe the same diameter as the spring, either on the top or the bottom of the spring. It will put more pressure on the spring making it harder to compress and you can play with the lengths. I'm not really recommending this, but we did it back in the olden days.:D

Welcome aboard skull666. Did you put the required amount of oil in the tube when you assembled it/ There is a different volumn for each application.
