My dad is very cool - he sent me a present: new progressive fork springs!
After waffling for a while, I decided that we were never going to get around to installing them ourselves, so I dropped the beast off at the local Indy shop on Saturday when we were done for the day. I had already purchased the HD Heavy Fork Oil so all the guys had to do was the install part.
Just a short ride home from the shop to the house, and already WOW. No more jiggle-bars on the crappy-patch road. There are still bumps, but much easier to handle. It is hard to explain, but the front end is stiffer and smoother at the same time! I LIKE it!
