Hi Trikers - I just bought a 03 1800 GW with a new Roadsmith trike kit and am looking for driver floorboards to put my feet on as it only has the pegs, any ideas ??

I have the Rivco boards with the toe & heel shifter, which are the same ones I had when it was a bike...it is now a HTS1800 Road Smith...Rivco's are high priced, but they are of good quality & backed by a good company.

I have the Kuryaken floorboards with heel toe and really like them. Never liked the foot pegs myself. Good luck on what ever you get.

I have considered both the Kury's and Rivco's. I would go for the Rivco for two reasons. 1. I think the Rivco is a better product when compaired and second. In order to get the battery cover of both appear you have to take the shifter off. The Rivco shifter is just held on with a snap ring which should make it eaver to get off and on. JMHO

I don't have to remove any thing from my Rivco set-up to remove any of the side panels.

Another interesting thing about Rivco is I also have their passenger arm rest, which are a little over two years old, and now out of warranty by a few months...I just now noticed that the chrome had started to peel, I contracted Rivco about buying some new parts & was told to send them the bad parts...they replaced all the bad chrome parts free of charge....they said "they aren't that far out of warranty"

More companies need to operate like this...

I do not have to remove mine either to get the battery cover off but do if I want to get into the radiator over flow tank.

I have Kury's on my Roadsmith HTS now but will be changing to Rivco's before riding season as the chrome has peeled on the Kury's and they are out of warranty. Kury would not do any thing for me just past there one year warranty. I have had to replace all of the Kury chrome on my bike because of bad chrome.

I use Kuryakan that they do not recommend for the GL1800 as a Bike but do for the VTX & Harley and I used them as they have 5 mounting positions with the splined adapters and they will fold up if I want to stretch my feet and put them on the fiberglass floorboards.... this is a HT1800 kit with the Kury. Heel toe shifter moved closer and adapted for my size 12's....:pepper:
