I have the kit. But hesitate putting it on. Because on the left side, it also moves the parking brake apparatuses out as well. Does this not put the parking cable at an angle, instead of the normal ' straight shot' back to the brake. Does moving it, and putting the cable at an angle make any difference ? Seems like it would.

I put them on my 17 Tri, No problems at all with the park brake.....:Shrug:

Thousands have installed the floorboard extensions with the parking brake on the 14-ups. Never heard of a single issue.

Think about the millions of bikes that have had cable operated clutches and front brakes....all those cables have had multiple twists and turns, but still work fine.

The parking brake cable gets a very small change in angle...it is does not negatively impact the function, nor life of the cable.

I just put extensions on my 16. No issues with the parking brake. I do not have the DK kit,so can't compare to them (dont know the width). I got mine from VTwin Goodies & were 1" wide.
