Floor Boards

Can someone tell me what the holes are for in the floor boards by the back wheels. :Shrug:

The theory was to have air flow for brake cooling, and keep some of the water from going down to the foot well in rain or washing.

If you are tlking about on the bottom of the floor boards I think they are drain holes to let any water drain out.
