Been lurking in this forum awhile, have a street glide two wheeler, and been looking into a trike.Searched around but couldn't find many street glide trikes.Found a good deal on a triglide and finally took the plunge and got the triglide, I won't have it till next week though.

Coming from a street glide I always liked the removable tour pack.
I have the opportunity to get a flhxxx luggage rack and sissy bar for a good price. Not seeing a flhxxx up close but just from pictures, looks like it bolts right to the trunk. I understand the triglide tour pack is bolted to the trunk also. Has anyone tried this setup? Or tried to see if it fits? I have measurements of the mounting holes on the luggage rack, anyone have the measurements from the triglide trunk mounting holes or know if they line up?

Looking forward to following these forums for more great ideas, And spending more money on all these mods I'm reading about.

Sorry don't have measurements you want but you have a couple of things to think through on the TG vs Street Glide. The antennas for the AM/FM and CB mount on the Tour Pak and would probably need to be remounted onto the body or a disconnect system developed for the cables. Also the speakers mount under the arm rests and need to be addressed also. I bought my TG before they came out with the Street Glide - I've always wished I had the option as I would have picked the SG also!! - Russ

For the antenna, you can get the one they now offer that mounts inside the front faring. Thats what I plan to do when I have a conversion done on my streetglide. I have heard from both camps on whether the reception is adequate. Not too big of an issue for me because I usually pipe my own tunes in through the axillary port anyway

but worried about the antenna. I use satellite. trying to figure if this will work before I spend the dough on the rack and upright and then find they won't fit.

Not sure about the fitment on the luggage rack. I have a Flhxxx. I removed the luggage rack and put on a tour pack. The luggage rack mounts with 6 bolts and the tour pack mounting bracket uses the same 6 holes, if that helps any.
Also I have had 2 bikes-a Classic and a street glide where I moved the antenna into the faring. The reception a great. No problem

There are pro and cons on those hidden antennas..some work some do not get good reception..

Good Luck..

I traded my Tourpac for the FLTGXXX luggage rack about a year ago. The only minor issue was swapping out the mounting back plates inside the trunk. They are only held in place by some silicone gasket stuff the pulls off really easy. I coated the new luggage rack back plates with some silicone sealant and bolted the rack right on. It's easy to check the seal; just slam the trunk door like normal and listen for the trapped air to leak out of the key lock.

Glad you found your answers and congratulations on the new trike! Be sure to post some pictures when you get your luggage rack mounted. I'm leaning towards the chopped tour pack when I get mine done. I've gotten used to having one riding with my husband on his limited. A girl's got to have a place for "stuff", Lol
