It really isn't all that hard to do once you get started.. I have changed them slightly but can't find my pictures :AGGHH: :AGGHH: :AGGHH:

That looks good and simple. I thought about doing it that way, was a little concerned about downforce on trunk lid when you were going 45-55 mph. does it effect yours that way

CyberVet65, he is here on the forum, had one for sale. I don't know if he still has it but it might be worth a chance.

Thanks I will try to contact him.

No, it does not have any effect on the trunk lid. In fact, I have watched the flags in my mirror while traveling at 70-75 mph on the freeways and they stand tall and wave just like they are supposed to.

The one I need is for a big flag 3X5 ft. for PGR escorts.

Cable tied my "Come and Take It" flat to my right side antenna and used some electrical tape under the cable ties. You have to put the flag low because when it gets in the wind, will bend the antenna too much otherwise.

He needs a flag pole for a 3' x 5'. Trailer hitch only

I use thick wall tubing with a nut welded to the end that matches the ball nut. Mount it on a ball mount type hitch. I make my own male shaft so it is much longer and use solid square for it. This make it stable. I also drill a hole in the female part of the trike hitch and thread a hole to match the hitch mount and use a bolt. This will make it real stable. I do it for my single wheel trailer, works like a charm.
With a 3 x 5 flag your speed needs to be some lower than interstate speeds. Mine does good up to 65 mph.

Thanks dirtdobber, That sounds good, Mine is still work in progress

Glad you posted this. I forgot i have to make another one for a friend. Time to go to my cousins house and snatch another piece. Don't know where he gets it but he gets thick wall tubing that is a 1/4 inch thick wall steel. It would take a lot more pressure than speed can muster up.
