I have a new Stallion and love it so far, but it does have shortcomings. The radio doesn't have an antenna?? The AM band just produces static and the FM works only when in town. Is there a fix for this? Also, when I opened the trunk, I noticed a plastic "T" shaped thing attached to the inside of the trunk. What is that? I guess I will have to add a power port as it doesn't come with one and for $34 grand I would expect it to. I love this forum and hope to get answers to lots of questions.

I had my dealer install a power antenna on my 2013 stallion before I took delivery on it. Dealer told me the factory setup didn't work very well and they had figured out the perfect electric antenna. It looks like a very fine iinstallation and hope it works good when I finally get to ride it. It is still very much winter up here in ND. I also get the feeling that I will be changing out the speakers, judging from what I read on here.

My dealer? L&M Sales of Glenwood, MN.

the antenna is mounted on top of the radio and you are correct that it is not the best. There are also setting on the radio to boost the local setting so push the big button on the radio and play around with it to see what you can do. Hopefully you were provided the sony manual with the trike.

The trunk latch mechanism was designed for a car and government regulations mandate that an inside latch be incorporated in case someone gets trapped inside. It releases the trunk latch. As for the radio reception, my FM is fine with the stock setup, but I listen to XM, so really don't need it. AM is nonexistent, but never listen to it anyway.

I agree with everyone on the radio reception:gah: I like the idea of a power antenna for the radio can you send a photo of the location and where the antenna came from?
