The blue beastie is home from the shop:pepper:
New to it transmission
new tires and rims
new fuel lines
new boots on the axle
the axle no longer leaks in the hub

now it need a good bath and some TLC

:clapping::clapping:,,,GOOD DEAL !!! What was making it leak ,,axle seals ?

I think so. Not mechanically inclined, that is what I got Jerry for LOL
He was not real impressed with the paper seals that came with the replacement axle parts either.

Jerry says he is almost fluent in cussing in german and volkswagon.....now

My trike was old and tired before I got it.
I am at the crossroads of either fixing it up or triking the 2001 yamaha roadstar I just bought.

Now to get the new front tire ordered, July 28th is getting here fast.:clapping:

:D,,,Finish the trike ,,I've found out you'll miss a bike , not always but sometimes . Still think I'm gonna end up with another Roadking just for beating around town .ThumbUp

This is part 4 of 4 parts. You have to use grease and not silicone or they will leak! Same with the axle tubes on a swing axle. They are called grease seals because the grease is what seals it.
