We got a wopping 4 inches is Summerville SC, so the kids had great fun, and now most of it is melted.

Well the Winter here has been a DUD !
We live on the MA/NH line 10 miles West of Nashua,NH.
It has been down right cold 0 to 20 degrees since Xmass and still without
the snow it is too cold to ride. On the other hand I snowmobile (Lynn does not)
and since we have hardly no snow and for the past 3 weeks 90 percent
of NH has closed down their sled trails for lack of snow
We got 8 inches 2 days ago and it has already melted because of the Spring
sun starting to begin. The only sledding is a 4 hour trailer ride North to almost
the Canadian border. In a few weeks we hope to be 2 & 3 wheeling

That's why I live where I do! Had enough of that white crap when I was growing up on a dairy farm in NW MO where the driveway HAD to be open for the milk truck. We had about 1/8 mile to keep clear. Usually it drifted in around barns, so first job was to dig out tractor & one section about 100 yds long that piled in about arm pit deep. Way too deep for the tractor to be any help. Here, in the desert, we get snow about every 7 or 8 years, but it's nearly always gone by noon. We can see snow up in the mountains & that's plenty for me!! Oh, -- it's a nice 50* @ 10:00 AM, headed for 65 today. :yes:

I was aiming for LV - would have settled for Phoenix - didn't get hubby past the MA border. Already told him NUMEROUS times, he better hope I go first - if not, the house is history and I'm westward bound!!! :yes: Sick of cold, sick of snow....

Cheri, you'd be more than welcome here in 'Vegas. It's a nice 66* with light wind & BRIGHT sunshine today. As usual, our forecasted rain got lost. It'd be nice to have someone else to ride with! I'd be riding now if I didn't have things appart fighting with the aux gas tank that I'll probably need Tuesday. I just talked to Dean & he having problems with the paint, so we're not going to make the tomorrow night deadline. Hasn't been our weekend!
