Fault codes

If you have extended warranty, HD lives for fault codes. Saves them doing actual diagnostic work. Even if you don't have warranty, they may answer exactly what you need to do.
 
Unplug the IAC, clean up the terminals and put a little dielectric grease on the plug.

That's the plug under the air cleaner cover on the left side of the throttle body. There is a push release on the back side. Push it in and pull the plug off.

When your issue is fixed, clear the code.
