I have been trying to find a unique and creative way of mounting an EZ device to an GL1800. I really don't want to mount it to the windshield but any other option both permanent or portable would be fine.
Open to suggestions
Thanks

Don't if you have windshield bags like i have on my Tri-Glide, But thats where i keep mine works every time...

My neighbor mounted his to the inside of the lid for the saddle bag. He's had it there for a couple of years without any issue. I bet the inside of a tour pack lid would work just as well.

It's a Prepaid device that you use to get through Toll Booths on the interstate. It registers your car, truck, motorcycle, as you pass through the I-Pass section of the toll booths and then deducts the charge off your prepaid balance. This way you don't have to stop to deposit money.
I have mine setup that if the funds get down to $10 , it will automatically deposit another $30 into my account. You can call any time on a toll free # to see what your balance is.

I mounted mine on the dash with no problems. Used velcro so I can take it off an on.

Yep....that works for me also.

Florida has "Sunpass" about the same thing. It also pays parking at airports.

No Champion, it's a "welcome fee" our Chicago neighbors charge us to visit their flip land.

Remember years back those tolls were suppose to be just temporary, then they found a way to be
a cash cow for us coming down from Wisconsin and used the money to put that jerk in the white house.

The western side of Rt. 470 outside Denver is a toll road. You need a toll pass. No live collectors there. If you don't have pass, they bill you after reading your license plate. If in a rental, you get charged by rental company a month or two later.
In other words, anyone going to or from airport gets screwed.

I don't like taking a slow way to get to where I'm going.
I'll pay the small fee as you get a break in price with a I-Pass for toll roads.
We went out to Penn for a rally in 2014. I have a trike and cargo trailer, so I put $30 in mine and also bought my I-Pass with the auto add to, in case it runs out of money. When we got home, I checked to see how much if any, was left or added. I still had $10.30 left in it.
If I would have paid cash for out and back, to go through Il, In, Oh, Pa, it would have cost me 2 to 3 times that amount.

Under the front fairing between the headlights there is a little shelf. some people put their hid power transformers there.

How did this world get so screwed up were we just let public services to legally charge our private finances without consent. ?????????

Just put it in my pocket, pull it out at the toll booth and hold it above my head. Have had way too quirky toll gates that won't read them, even mounted on the windshield.

I don't have an EZ pass so no idea of the size but I do have a K-TAG and it's a big sucker but on my '13 non-airbag I just put it in the tank pocket and go. Kansas makes it a bit difficult as it has to be oriented the correct way (dumb). I have a piece of foam rubber on top of the registration and lay it there. Works like a champ
