Extra Luggage Racks

For extra storage, has anyone placed luggage racks on the rear fenders of their Roadsmiths? I'm thinking of a small rack like the kind you would have on top of a hard side bag or rear fender of a two wheeler. Not planning on a lot of weight, just somewhere to attach a sleeping bag or something similar.

If you have, I would appreciate some details.

IF I knew HOW to post a picture, I'd show you what I did, using the hitch area........ I believe it's quite cool and actually works very well.......

I added this extra luggage carrier that I'm now using, after the picture on my left was posted........(and to be really truthful, I'm not even sure how that picture was posted???)

Ronnie, When replying there's 2 lines of options on the left side of the page. Second line, 6th from the right end is a square that looks like a screen, click that to ad pictures

Thank you for the advice and comments. I now leaning toward a carrier attached to the receiver hitch.

Good luck - buddy of mine added some extra racks - and later decided to take them off.

For me, seems like I have plenty of space. In fact, I no longer use my top trunk for things other than my hat and rain suit. Then again, no matter how long I am gone, I simply pack for just 3 days and do laundry.
