Extended Warranty

Just bought 2013 Tr Glide. Got the 7 year/ unlimited mileage with tire & wheel/unlimited mileage. Paid $2199.

With my 11 limited needed lenses replaced due to leaks, lower replaced due to peeling paint, stripped bolt in trunk, heated hand grips quit working before delivery.
I figured I better get as much protection as possible. 13 Tri Glide needed reverse motor solenoid replaced right before delivery. While going over trike, reverse quit working. Stud was cross threaded.

Did you get the7 year without wheels/tires for $1700?
My coworker just got a quote from an independent shop for front and rear tire for his 96 classic for $465, + installation, so I figured it would be worth it.

If your going to do a lot of traveling you did the right thing. My dad took out the extended warranty when he bought his and it paid for it self.

When was the last time you bent a wheel?
I have never had a wheel problem and can't imagine ever having one, but I did just had a tire problem. There was a big bulge in the sidewall on one of my rear tires - I had 12K on it - they replaced it at no charge (no pro rating)under the regular warranty.
To me, the tire/wheel warranty isn't worth it.

I also bought my dealer's VIP service program. It covers all services up to 10K plus other benefits and a free rear wheel (I chose the front wheel) and free rear brake pads at the end of the contract. All that for less money then individually paying for the 5 services.

So you basically got 5 years more warranty. Does the tire/wheel warranty also go the 5 years? I thought those were limited to 3 years? i thought I remembered him saying that?
Also, the tire warranty covers regular flats due to road junk, Yes? I thought i remembered that also. not just faulty tires/wheels.?
