exhaaust tips

I'm going to put some chrome turn down exhaust tips on my 2010-Champion... Has anyone compared the the Kuryakin vs the ones made by Add On. There's about $25 difference in price with the Kury's being more expensive.. Is there any difference in quality etc?

I've had a couple "Add-On" accessories over the years and to me their quality just isn't as good as the Kuryakyan products. You are going to pay quite a bit for those turn downs so my advise is to go Kury just to be sure. :xszpv: :xszpv:

Heard the same thing from several.
Just REAL hard to beat Kury overall on most anything.
Joker makes better stuff than them for HD but you think Kury is high.... WOWZERS.

I have the addons on mine. If your lucky you wont twist off all the bolts off when you remove your stock ends.

My '06 was two years old when I put on the turndown tips. Even after letting them soak for a couple days in penetrating oil, I had to drill out 5 of the 6 screws.

I followed a trike with turn downs and even at very slow speeds over speedbumps he hit every one.

I have the ones that are longer and turn down more, I believe they are the Add-Ons. I had the others(Kury?) on my last trike and your could see the exhaust hole in them which I didn't like, so tried the others on the new trike. It is a Roadsmith kit and the exhausts are very high, so no problem with dragging them. On my Champion trike before, the exhaust sit real low, but I never drug them on anything. Big thing is backing into curb with them. bigred06
