Prepping the Free for its ride to Daytona. I want to put a larger fuse in the battery tender lead to run my mini compressor. I can't find it so I need some help. Pulled the battery cover off and I can see the negative (blk) wire running forward then getting taped up in a bundle to the shifter side. The positive (red) wire runs down and then is covered with flexible wire cover. The lead comes out toward the back of fuse panel and they had it zipped tied toward the header. Stupid place as it get roasted there so I had moved it when I first brought it home. Can someone direct me to where the in-line fuse is. Thanks.

You maybe right about no in-line fuse. Kinda of stupid if you ask me. I think I will just add a tender lead just for the compressor to use.

A little more internet search and I believe the tender leads are protected by the P&A fuse. Will confirm this with my local service guy.

Battery tenders don't need or have external fuses. The tender is electorally fused in the unit itself ..... even if you cross the leads it won't spark or damage the unit or the battery...

Yes there is a fuse.

The battery tender pigtail lead is under the left side cover of the trike. Just had the hd shop put a 10 amp fuse in mine so I could plug my electric gear in using the battery tender lead. There is a place for a fuse. It is located on the positive lead ; close to where the lead is coming from the battery on the charging pigtail.
