Is the wire harness for HD's Aux Power Port (part # [FONT=&quot]69201099) [/FONT]long enough to reach the trunk. I wanted to have switched power in my trunk. Thanks

You will probably need an extension. Take a look at plug type under seat and you should be able to match it with something not from HD. I believe it is a standard type plug. Have a volt meter handy and you should be able to confirm correct plug.

Was hoping for a simple job, but adding more wire won't be an issue. I will use a waterproof usb plug at the end. Thanks

If this is a 2014 or later the answer is no the cable is not long enough. If you are wanting power there already is a fused wire in the front left ornery under the liner. It is designed to connect to the optional 12v cigarette lighter port. This is hot only when the bike is running or in accessories mode.
