any advise on front brake pads and rotor for a Honda Goldwing GL1800 Trike
I need to replace both and the Honda dealer I going to will let me bring my own parts

tell me what brands are good and or not good

My mechanic, who used to work for Honda and has been on his own for many years swears by OEM. He doesn't even like to discuss anything else. I ask him one time if he would put on the pads I had and his only question was are they OEM.

BTW that same mechanic is NOT one of those that says OEM just to make more money for himself. When I had him put the pads on I told him he could add his markup for parts to the bill and he just took the pads and installed them. No labor charge either as he had the front wheel off to change the tire anyway.
