I can hear my front tire going about 30 mph and it stops when you go faster or slower. I have Dyno beads in it, I have about 6000 miles on it, do you think it could be the beads?
Thanks

Have never heard of anyone being able to hear the Dyna Beads moving inside the tire. I've seen videos of how they work and don't believe that is possible. :xszpv::xszpv:

Not questioning what you are hearing one bit but I'd say you need to look for a different source. It might be uneven ware. What brand of tire do you have mounted? Also what bike?

...I agree and I wouldn't think it's the beads. Few years ago, I had a faint, peculiar noise up front that turned out to be the speedometer drive.

Not saying for sure that's it - but just something to check out. Good luck!

It is a 1800 trike and I have a Michelin Pilot Active rear tire mounted backwards

I've never run an MPA on my trikes so I don't know the exact issue but I know several riders had experienced with they call buzzing. Maybe that is what you are also. Hopefully someone with personal knowledge will chime in on this one. :xszpv::xszpv:

I have had this tire before and it never did this this just started after 6000 miles. Is there a way to lube the speed cable?

Your 1800 does not have a cable Howard. It's totally electronic. Pick up is in the transmission I believe.

Look to see if you have some cupping developing. That will generate some noise.

This is a bit of a stretch but also look for the end of a cable tie the wind might be whipping around or something along that order.... Yes that is grasping at straws but sometimes it solves problems. :xszpv::xszpv:

Ive had 2 MPAs and usually between 25-35 mph on my Lehman they sang. First one had Dynabeads ,2nd one had Centramatics. Over the years Ive heard many a comment depending on trike brand about the MPA and its noise.
