Dumb question #13

I have been out of the riding game for a while, but will be back on the road again as soon as the 2015 Tri-Glide hits the street.
I have been researching all I can on everything that I am planing on add to my trike, but I am total confused on;
1. Headsets for helmets; and
2. Smartphones

The actual dumb question.
Both my wife and I will be riding, how do we both hookup to the boom system, use the CB and each of us use our own individual phones and still have intercom with each other?

True the purpose of rideing is to get away from it all, but I dont have that luxury, but I can compromise and work from a smartphone.

Actually, good question. I only have a '10 TG, but....for me, hookup for CB and intercom went through supplied headset. My phone could connect through my GPS which used a separate bluetooth to my helmet. Never really worked all that great. I am wondering if new TG connects through its GPS to phones. In that case, everything can go through same headsets. Haven't heard anybody mention that. Might pay for you to ask you local HD dealer directly.

If Harley cannot answer your question I would give Sierra Electronics a call and explain what you want to do to them. It maybe in stock form your Harley system wont do what you want but Sierra can tell you what you need to make that happen. Just google them for contact info.

Thank you, Pegasus and Bikerbozo. I have asked the local dealer, actually had 4 of the salesman trying to figure it out. The best solution that they could come with is use the regular hard wire in one ear and a Bluetooth in the other. Not a great solution.
I will try Sierra electronics and see it they have an answer.

Bluetooth of phone to Harley will ONLY pair with 1 phone at a time. Same holds true for any auto gps system I have used.
