Drought is so bad in Texas even the sky looks like it's on fire.

We in Central Texas are being teased with a 30% 'chance' of rain over the weekend. Bet we don't get much, if any - - farmers have already lost two crops this year; looking to lose more during the fall and winter . . . sad state of affairs. Been eleven months since we had any measurable rainfall . . . our lawns are dessicated . . . our skies are on fire . . .

We have 3 cousins that lost their homes in the Bastrop fire. They haven't decided whether they will rebuild on the same property or buy something back in the trees and rebuild there.
