DK oil cooler/ relocation question

Thinking about installing the DK oil cooler / filter relocation kit. I trailer the Tri sometimes and am wondering about the clearance of the relocated filter as the trike transions from the ramp to the trailer floor. I have a 6' trailer, so the door is 6 " shorter that the door on a normal 6.5' height enclosed trailer. I always use a 2x6 under the ramp door and a 3/4" board under the folding flap to help with the clearance. On a level surface, there is clearance without me adding the boards, but not much. Wondering what anyone who does this can tell me. Thanks.

I have that setup on my 2014 and the filter mounts above the frame. Ran he lines along the frame to the filter.

+ 1 Have the same setup on my 2016. Everything is above the frame.

Everything, hoses, bracket, filter are all above the frame. On the sides (outside the frame rails), the bottom of your primary will hit before anything with the filter relo.

Just installed this on my '19 TG a couple of days ago. I have not done any controlled heat test runs, but the rough numbers look like it is cooling the oil even more on the M8's than the Twin Cams. Gotta do some controlled testing, but what I saw yesterday was in excess of a 60* drop in oil temps.

Going to be running it again, this afternoon, in 90* temps and will pay closer attention.
