Dirt Dobber has died

i hate to hear news like this....a regular good guy taken from his family way too soon. i will remember his family and his friends in my prayers and hope that God will offer them all the peace and comfort they will need. God bless.

Thanks Alan. I've been a little melancholy lately. Seems like death has been all around me. First my father in law, then Dirt Dobber, then last weekend my cousin passed away.

I'm getting to the age where I'm going to start losing people, and it's only going to increase. It's made me think a lot.

As you get older , People around us are getting older also.. Thats the grand scheme of things...
One day [ And Its gonna happen to all of us] People will be talking ''About us'' ''Not to us''...
Enjoy life, Its relatively short, Thinking too much about it will put you in a Funk.... Nothing is gonna change the grand scheme....

I agree with you, I also don't fear death, But am trying to stay alive as long as i can..
That said' i'm not going to kill myself trying either.....;):D

Many Many Thanks

I know this is a old thread and I have not been on here in a very long time but since I lost my Dad in this fire a lot of information has came to light about what happened. I will not go into details but I wanted you all to know that every time I start thinking about my Daddy I come here and read everyone's comments and it helps me to know that my Daddy did what he loved most and that was helping his fellow riders out. I am in the process of restoring his VTX also known as his Memorial Bike and while I am completely lost as where to start or what to do I am going to try my best to restore it back to the way he had it prior to his death. I have spent the last 3 years trying to track down the painter because there is huge gash in the paint where it looks like someone took a hammer to it (prior to me obtaining it) and I have hit a dead end every time. I will be posting lots of questions as I go through this process and I just ask everyone to be patient with me since I am new to all of this.

Thank You in Advance,

Lil DirtDobber
