I happened to get about 1/2 each of white and yellow peaches this time, so you'll note the two-tones in the pictures. But guess what...... it still tastes heavenly!

Nana, you may just have some competition for your fresh peach pie! Can I vote for both???

I think after reading this thread that i will go on the Hollywood Diet.

(You can eat anything you want but you have to eat it in the nude standing in front of the mirror)

Try and get that image out of you mind!

Oh yes..... that pumpkin swirl cheesecake is definitely being added to my recipe book!

Here is another yummy one. If you are fortunate enough to have lemons fresh from the tree, be sure to use those for extra goodness :D.

LESLEY’S LEMON CREAM PIE

Beat 4 eggs in the top of a double boiler with 1 cup granulated sugar.
Add:
• the grated rind of 1 large lemon,
• the unstrained juice of 2 lemons
• 4 tablespoons butter

Cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until so thick that the stirring spoon leaves its trace in the mixture.
Remove from the heat, and cool to lukewarm.

Coat bottom and sides of a pre-baked pastry shell with apricot jam.
Fill the shell with the lemon filling.

Chill well. Cover top with a layer of whipped cream.
Serve and watch everyone lick up every crumb!

NOTE and DISCLAIMER: I do not promise this to be low calorie!!!

Ok, all of you who are complaining about the high calorie, fattening desserts in this thread, here's one for you. Got it from my mom who got it at a weight watcher's meeting. Incidentally, she has recently passed the 75 pounds lost mark. Doing well, and eating healthier than ever.

Easiest cake ever!

One box cake mix (I use chocolate)
One can diet soda (I use Coke Zero)

Mix in bowl with wooden spoon - DO NOT USE A MIXER! When smooth, pour into prepared (or non-stick) cake pan and bake according to box directions.

Serve topped with low-fat Cool Whip.

I hate diet food, and I enjoy this cake alot.

Sounds really, really good - the simplest ever! I like Coke Zero best of all the Coke products, and will definitely try this real soon! Thanks!

Blondie...No eggs or anything? Or is there a Special Cake Mix to use with this recipe? I really appreciate you're sharing this one.

A snack food that is easy to carry and tastes great.

Fake PayDay

2 large bags Candy Corn (the kind you can only get at Halloween)
2 cans salted peanuts (lightly salted works but does not taste as good)

Mix together in a large bowl, cover and store until ready for a light snack. You can do a portion control for kids by putting 2/3 cup into a snack zip lock bag. They get a "whole bag" to themselves and think they have something great. Good for those long trips when you get the munchies.

:D:D

Been doing this one for years !! Taste just like a payday candy bar
