As I posted earlyer I went to the dentisit, well they wanted fourteenthousand dollars to pull all my teeth and get false teeth plus putting in four inserts in my lower jaw to help hold the lower false teeth in,I SAID NO WAY
So today after talking to them they came up with a price of five thousand dollars to remove my teeth and get false teeth.
They said because my gums and bone or in good shape I may be able to get by with out the inserts.
If that works out good, but if it does not then they will see what else can be done.
While I do not have any heart problems I am on blood pressure medicine,so they are wating for a reply from my heart doctor to see if I need to come off my medcine and if so far how long.Made it clear I was not going in to the hospital and have a oral surgen remove them.
I am not going to have a twenty thousand doctor and hospital bill.
Just got done paying off all of my wifes medical bills.
So we will see what happens.
Suppose to go in the fifth of may and get my impressions done.
Getting a little tired of having to spend all this money, new septic system,Had to buy another pickup cause the old 74 dodge gave up the ghost, transmission went out not worth fixing and now this.
Would like to have enough money left so if any thing happens to me there is at least enough money left to bury me.

$14,000.00??? then a quick discount to $5,000.00??? Well.....they tried, I guess.

We'll be thinking of you, Jim. That's going to be one very sore mouth for a few days!

Strange they want you to stop your blood pressure meds. I take plavix & asprin & had to stop the plavix 5 days before -- 'cept I forgot. Didn't have any problems with bleeding any more than with a single extraction. Get some pain pills that work for you & keep the plates in constantly for the first 48 hrs like your dentist will tell you. I finally got my first "adjustment" on the lower plate today & what a difference! I waited nearly a month before getting any adjustment done because when I got my partial, it got overadjusted & never did fit right. I had the erronious idea it should feel good right off the bat. Need to let the swealing in your gums subside before doing much adjustment to the plates.

Damn Jim! I got mine done here in town, pulling and dentures for $1,800 and they were the 2nd from the top set they offered. Included 3 sets of soft liners and the hard liners. The first set just never fit right so they did them all over, no extra cost. I'll be getting my hard liners soon. People come from all over Mo., Ar. Ok., and Ks. tp this place called The Denture Center.
